For years, Johnny D’s has been known as a place where mornings shine, waffles stacked high, eggs Benedict perfected, and brunch shared with family and friends. Breakfast has always been at the heart of what we do.
But longtime guests know that lunch has always had a place here too. Classics like our French Dip, Grilled Reuben and Breakfast Burger have been staples on the menu for years.
As our guests’ tastes and lifestyles continue to evolve, we’ve been listening. Many of you have been asking for lighter options, more vegetables, and meals that feel fresh, balanced, and energizing in the middle of the day.
That’s exactly what inspired our new Lunch Features.
After months of testing, tasting, and a successful soft launch, we’re excited to officially introduce a lineup of bowls, salads, and bold handheld dishes designed to bring fresh, vibrant flavors to the middle of the day.

Our Lunch Features were designed to bring the same creativity and flavor you expect from our breakfast dishes into the middle of the day, with options that feel fresh, balanced, and crave-worthy.

Fresh, Flavorful Bowls
Mediterranean Bowl
Bright, vibrant, and full of Mediterranean flavor, this bowl starts with a base of quinoa and a roasted vegetable medley of eggplant, zucchini, and peppers. We layer in roasted tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, grilled chicken, and feta before finishing it with house-made tzatziki and a squeeze of fresh lemon.
It’s light yet satisfying, the kind of lunch that fuels your afternoon without weighing you down.
Chef's Note: This dish features Chef Jamie's Mediterranean Salt, All Purpose Seasoning and our award winning Tzatziki Sauce.

Brisket Bowl
For guests looking for something a little heartier, the Brisket Bowl delivers rich, comforting flavor. A roasted root vegetable medley of sweet potato, butternut squash, parsnip, kale, and onions forms the base, topped with tender shredded BBQ brisket, melted gouda, and pickled onions.
A drizzle of chipotle sauce and BBQ sauce ties everything together for a bold, smoky finish.
Chef's Note: This dish features Chef Jamie's Honey Habanero Seasoning.

Power Packed Veggie Bowl
This bowl celebrates vegetables in the most flavorful way possible. Quinoa is paired with roasted eggplant, zucchini, peppers, and tomatoes, along with caramelized onions, cucumbers, and parmesan. It’s finished with kale pesto aioli, tzatziki, and fresh lemon.
Guests can also enjoy this bowl prepared vegan upon request, making it a flexible option for different dietary preferences.
For those looking to add extra protein, you can customize any bowl with grilled chicken, a flat iron steak, or a burger patty.
Chef's Note: This dish features Chef Jamie's All Purpose Seasoning and award winning Tzatziki Sauce.

Bold and Satisfying Favorites
Crispy Chicken Tacos
Two warm tortillas are filled with crispy chicken, guacamole, pico de gallo, chopped bacon, and pickled onions. We finish them with chipotle sauce and a drizzle of hot honey for the perfect balance of smoky heat and sweetness.
Served with French fries, and if two tacos aren’t enough, you can always add another.
Chef’s Note: These tacos are Chef's personal favorite on the new lunch menu. Chef has been been making and eating these behind the scenes for years, they were always the envy of the staff whenever they are prepared in the kitchen. We are so excited to finally share them with our guests.

Fresh Salads With Big Flavor
Crispy Chicken Ranch Salad
A hearty, satisfying salad built on romaine with cucumbers and roasted tomatoes, topped with crispy chicken, bacon, pickled onions, and parmesan cheese. It’s finished with house ranch and a drizzle of hot honey for just the right balance of creamy and sweet.
Chef's Note: This dish features Chef Jamie's Sweet & Spicy Seasoning.

JD’s Berry Salad
This salad brings together bright, fresh flavors with romaine, cucumbers, red onion, strawberries, blueberries, sliced almonds, feta, and avocado. Tossed in balsamic vinaigrette and served with grilled or crispy chicken, it’s refreshing, colorful, and perfect for a lighter lunch.
Chef's Note: The Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing prepared exclusively for this salad is a favorite of Chef Jamie's and is a featured recipe in her cookbook, Making It Delicious.

Perfect Pairings and Sides
Our new lunch offerings also come with a variety of sides that can be enjoyed on their own or paired with any of our dishes.
Guests can choose from options like a simple House Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette, Street Corn with Black Beans, Feta, Chipotle Sauce, and Lime, Fire-Roasted Vegetables, or our Roasted Root Vegetable Medley.
Each one was designed to complement the bold flavors across the menu.
