On the third anniversary of my father Johnny D’s passing, I find myself reflecting on the lasting impact he had not only on me but on everyone who crossed his path. He understood the true meaning of hospitality—it's not just about serving a meal or offering a drink, but about creating an experience that makes people feel at home, valued, and special. My dad was always quick with a smile, a laugh, and a way to make you feel like the most important person in the room.
