Every holiday season, we challenge ourselves to create dishes that are comforting, festive, and unexpected — flavors that feel nostalgic yet still carry the creativity and craftsmanship that define Johnny D’s.

This year’s holiday menu is a true reflection of that spirit. From indulgent waffles inspired by Middle Eastern desserts to a reimagined Turkey Benedict and a lineup of seasonal cocktails crafted with local Twelve 33 spirits, every dish and drink was created with intention, warmth, and the joy of the season in mind.

Here’s a closer look at this year’s holiday creations.

Holiday Feature Dishes

Dubai Chocolate Waffle

One of the most decadent waffles we’ve ever created — layered, textural, and inspired by rich pistachio, warm spice, and bright citrus. Our signature waffle batter is blended with pistachio paste, orange zest and spices, then swirled with a house-made pistachio sauce and filled with crispy kataifi before cooking.

Once golden brown, it’s dusted with powdered sugar, drizzled with more pistachio paste, finished with our pistachio milk chocolate ganache, topped with fresh strawberries, sprinkled with pistachios and more kataifi, and served with whipped cream and whipped butter.

A true holiday showstopper.

Holiday Turkey Benedict

This benedict transforms the comfort of a classic holiday dinner into a warm, cozy brunch dish. A fluffy buttermilk biscuit is layered with caramelized onions, roasted turkey, and perfectly poached eggs, then smothered in our house-made brown gravy.

It’s drizzled with our signature maple mustard and finished with paprika, parsley, and smoked sea salt. A side of house-made cranberry jam brings the perfect sweet-tart balance to the plate.

Orange Maple Creamed French Toast

Made with our house-baked challah, this French toast begins with a dip in rich vanilla custard before being grilled to a perfect golden brown. It’s layered with a velvety orange cream cheese filling infused with maple and warm spices, then topped with a generous spoonful of our house-made blackberry compote and finished with a fresh orange slice.

Bright, cozy, and beautifully seasonal.

Festive Holiday Cocktails

Spiked Peppermint Hot Chocolate

A nostalgic holiday favorite elevated

with Twelve 33’s Santa’s Little Helper

Liqueur. Our almond milk hot chocolate

is blended with rich chocolate

and finished with a peppermint chip rim, whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, peppermint chips and a classic candy cane garnish. It’s warm, wintery, and instantly festive.

Cranberry Orange Mimosa

This sparkling brunch cocktail brings

together cranberry juice, orange juice,

and a touch of caramel syrup for depth.

Finished with champagne and served

with a caramel churro sugar rim, it’s

garnished with a fresh orange slice and

cinnamon stick. Bright, bubbly, and

perfect for celebrating.

Spiked Eggnog

A holiday classic with a Johnny D’s twist. We blend creamy eggnog with Twelve 33’s Big Six Bourbon and our seasonal spice blend, then top it with whipped cream, a dusting of cinnamon, and a cinnamon stick. Served hot or iced, it’s cozy, nostalgic, and full of holiday warmth.

Holiday Rum Punch

This crowd-pleasing cocktail combines Twelve 33’s Crusader Rum with apple cider, pomegranate juice, and house ginger syrup. Finished with a cinnamon stick and orange slice, it’s a vibrant balance of sweet, tart, and spiced, refreshing yet unmistakably seasonal.
